Review: Baby Animals

Created by Edgar’s Mission, Baby Animals is filled with gorgeous photos of farm animals which babies and toddlers will love, including a cheeky lamb poking out its tongue, a bunny eating broccoli and little goats in coats.

Each page features one or more baby animals along with a short sentence which goes on to rhyme throughout.

The story tells what the animals need in their lives such as playtime, naps, food and love. Every page provides the opportunity to stop, point and chat about the animals, and of course make sounds like them.

The last page informs readers of who Edgar’s Mission are and what they do. I love this page the most because it prompts discussions with my little ones about being kind to animals and why they might need help.

All royalties from the sale of this book go to Edgar’s Mission, a not-for-profit haven for rescued animals.
