Junior Review: Ninja Kid 6

It is October, which means Halloween is coming and the Fair is in town. 

This year Nelson and Kenny will be tall enough to go on all the new, scary rides after many years of stretching and growing. 

But after testing their Grandma’s invention without permission, they are abruptly too small to go on any of the new rides. 

They are even too small for the merry-go-round and Grandma will not have the invention fixed until this AFTERNOON!

Unless they think of good reasons (and disguises) to be small, their hero identities will be discovered. 

Review: E.Boy 2: Robofight

Action packed, fast-paced and sci-fi filled. That’s the E-Boy series by Anh Do.

I haven’t read book one in this junior fiction series, but book two got me up to speed in a couple of pages, so it was easy to jump in and enjoy E-Boy Robofight without going back. 

We start at a robot fight. Ethan and Doctor Penny are spying on the corrupt President, and trying to find Gemini — the robot healer Penny created, which has now been turned into an assassin. 

Not an easy task, except Ethan isn’t a normal kid anymore, and he has some amazing and helpful abilities. 

Ethan is E-boy now, and he has telepathic abilities that allow him to connect with anything tech. This means listening to phone conversations, changing traffic lights, opening electronic locks — all with his mind!

Review: Enter the Roo (Kung Fu Roo #1)

Kung Fu Roo is a new graphic novel series from the best-selling Anh Do and the first book is called Enter the Roo.

The stars of Kung Fu Roo are three friends: Kai, Harry and Charley. They love martial arts and are on the way to compete in a kung fu competition when the train they're travelling on is hijacked.
