Review: Our Granny

Oh how we love our granny. But what we love most about her is how she comes in all shapes and sizes. How she likes to wear sneakers or baggy underpants or comfy slippers.

We like how she babysits, drives trucks, writes books, plays in a band.

We like how she does special exercises to make her bottom smaller (don't need to be a granny to need that!) and most especially of all, we love how our granny... loves us.

Margaret Wild has pinned almost every granny I know in this gorgeous book - in celebration of the love between grandmother and child.

Gorgeously folksy illustrations by the talented Julie Vivas take these grannies and add colour, diversity, warmth, humour and movement that will mesmerise kids - and give them a warm fuzzy connection to their own grandparent. A truly lovely classic.
