Dino-Christmas is, as you might expect, about dinosaurs at Christmas time.
Being set in the northern hemisphere, one of the dominant features in the story is snow.
Dino-Christmas begins with the dinosaurs playing in the snow -- having Raptor races and ice skating.
They're soon invested in making and eating Christmas cookies, and decorating trees.
Some of the dinosaurs are really helpful, while others are a bit mischieveous, a little like children.
As the story progresses, the dinosaurs get closer and closer to Christmas, even participating in a special Christmas parade. And eventually there's a visit from Santa Claws (a T-Rex of course), and a chorus of dinosaurs singing carols.
Dino-Christmas is told in rhyme and illustrated in bright colours. There's a lot happening on each page -- plenty for children who love prehistoric creatures, or are excited about Christmas, to delve into and get even more excited about.
Lisa Wheeler and Barry Gott have also created a number of other dino-themed stories (at least ten of them), which you might like to look out for.
