This is a really relatable story. Lots of kids have felt
left out when they come back to school after being away for a while, and the
book gives you some great ideas on how to deal with that situation.
It’s also got great characters. Amanda is super smart and
she isn’t afraid to tell her friends her feelings. She’s brave and stands up
for herself.
The illustrations are great because they help readers
understand the story. They’re also very cute. I love the fun facts about Amanda
and her friends that appear through the book too. They’re added in cool
handwriting and tell you more about the characters.
