Boo and the Big Storm is a delightful story of lost and found. Lovely little owlet Boo is swept away from her siblings by a strong wind. Boo, with her big, innocent eyes, calls out but her parents are away from the nest hunting.
We eagerly follow Boo on her journey and genuinely care for her and a safe return to the family nest.
The tension builds when a strange ‘monster’, Farmer Goodman appears and takes Boo away. Where is Boo going? Thankfully we soon learn that Farmer Goodman is a caring man who looks after Boo and when the storm passes, returns Boo home.

Review: When a Dragon Moves In
A little boy spends the day at the beach with his family and builds the perfect sandcastle. What happens next? A dragon moves in, of course!
The boy and dragon enjoy all kinds of beach-fun including kite flying and toasting marshmallows.
However, when things go wrong, the boy can't seem to convince his family that it's a dragon causing all the trouble . . . and not him.

Review: Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
An elevator which travels into space, shape-shifting aliens, a floating hotel, wonka-vites that will take you to Minusland? There is only one author that can create such magic. Roald Dahl, of course.
As a child, I remember reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and immediately wanting to read the sequel. But how could any book follow the mouth-watering, delightful world of the chocolate factory? The gobstoppers, Veruca Salt, Mike TV?

Review: Can’t Sleep Without Sheep
Ava has a busy mind and is having trouble falling asleep. So what’s the best thing a person can do to nod off? Count sheep of course!
The only problem is Ava is taking so long to fall asleep, the sheep become tired and decide to quit.
Thankfully they promise Ava they will find her a replacement. Chickens, cows, pigs and hippos arrive to help Ava but none can quite manage the art of jumping over a fence as wonderfully as sheep do.

Review: A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning
Personally, I just couldn't go past a book written by someone called ‘Lemony Snicket’. I soon went on to learn that Lemony is a character in the thirteen-part series and the pen name of American novelist Daniel Handler.
Hadler created the exciting, humorous and appropriately dark adventures: A Series of Unfortunate Events.
We follow three siblings Violet, an incredible inventor, Klaus, an extraordinary reader and Sunny who has four very sharp teeth and loves to bite things.
