Review: Angelina's Christmas

The classic little ballerina mouse has her own festive book in this gorgeous story with accompanying audio CD containing two recordings - one complete reading with music, and one with a read-along component.

After dance rehearsals at school, Angelina is dancing along the pavement on her way home when she peeps in a neighbourhood window and notices a little old man huddled by a fire, all alone.

Rushing home to her mother, Angelina discovers the man is Mr Bell, the old village postman, who's too old to work now and lives all alone.

Being the lovely little thoughtful mouse that she is, Angelina decides to make a Christmas surprise for Mr Bell - and gets set to baking cookies and preparing to take him some treats. You can imagine the old postman's surprise when Angelina and her family, including cousin Henry, turn up at the door... but pretty soon, it's Mr Bell's turn to surprise Angelina.

A heartwarming, gorgeously illustrated book with a simple, touching message, this is pure Angelina Ballerina. And yes, there's dancing.
