Review: Pop-Up Things That Go!

This absolutely fantastic pop-up book is ideal for first experiences in early learning.

Compact and chunky, its eye-catching blue cover depicting a boy in a helicopter on the front, and the same boy on a skateboard on the back, will call from the bookshelves. The end promises a surprise!

It gets better! A tractor, ice cream van, bicycle, fire engine and other machines that move, come alive as each one appears.

The pages are made of strong board with a lighter similar type used to create the moveables.

Colour is a main factor here and so is the size of each machine that fills each space. They look like toys made of cardboard in a book; so real and effective in their projection of each item.

Toddlers will adore them and will learn through touch and sight. The background colours are vivid backdrops with additional pictures of bus stop signs for the bus, train track for the train, skating ramp for the skateboard, and a tunnel for the train and so on.

Simple yet striking, this book will educate and entertain youngsters and keep them engaged with its 15 spreads of stylish design, and visually unique presentation.
