About: There's just something about books for babies that entrance even adults. Older kids love to flip through them, too. With eye-popping colour and simplistic wordage, they're not only a delight for the senses (as they should be) but they also send us winging back to our own childhoods, when books were not just books - they were magical cardboard wads that opened like spectacular doors to another world and time.

Child's Play have been around for over 30 years (remember There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly?) and the publisher continues to release an astounding assortment of gorgeous, interactive books for our tiniest readers... all the way through to little scientists in grade school.

These Two Little Hands clapping books are just pure delight and mum and dad will have as much fun reading the books to their babies as babies will in receiving the animated splendour... and sound effects!

Kay Widdowson illustrates this charming set with her beautifully coloured kidlings lolling through the pages, accompanied with an assortment of classic rhymes and songs that incorporate clapping in some way. Who knew there were so many that involved clapping??

From 'clap your hands, listen to the music' to 'if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands' and 'open shut them, give a little clap' - babies will chortle in surprised delight as the reader slaps the book shut to create a nice, snappy clapping sound, thanks to an ingenious tab on the inside covers.

These books will be dog-eared in no time.
