Exciting news for the book lovers - one of the matriarchs of Australian children's literature - Margaret Hamilton AM - is opening what some might call a legendary literary haunt in the making - Pinerolo - a children's book cottage in the magnificent Blue Mountains, New South Wales.
Meaning 'place of pines', Pinerolo is a centre for all things kids-lit. The cottage will hold book launches, workshops, seminars, artwork exhibitions, illustrators and authors in residence, and much more. Watch this space for announcements of the glorious events Margaret has in store.
