Shaun Tan's short film - The Lost Thing - inspired by his glorious book - will be released on DVD this November.
I was very lucky to get a sneak peek of the film at this year's CBCA Imagine This! Imagine That! conference in Sydney and let me just tell you ... this is a mini masterpiece.
DVD extras include deleted scenes, pre-production artwork, notes and commentaries, mini-features on animation development, plus an extensive interview. There is also a 48-page field guide 'What Miscellaneous Abnormality Is That?', a rare publication from the mysterious Federal Department of Odds.
