Review: I Spy Mum!

I love this classic-in-the-making book for little ones – a book of mums that will appeal to so many little ones… as each junior reader discovers a mum that in some way reflects their own.

And with gorgeous, lolloping, lollipop-coloured, character-filled illustrations by Stewart, the search will be all the sweeter.
Will it be the mum with a tumble of red curls waking up and stretching from her cottage window? Will it be the Micronesian mum making floral garlands? Will it be the singing mum with a turban? The elephant-riding mum with a head scarf? The hiking mum, the artist mum, the sporting mum?

And will our little boy, sailing the high seas in search of his own mum, find her atop the crest of a wave?

Yes, all mums are different but they all have one thing in common. They love.

Which mum is yours?
