I often spend hours lying awake, figuring out how to survive a zombie apocalypse.

3. What is your greatest fear?
I can’t write it down in case it comes true. Zombie apocalypse.

4. Describe your writing style in ten words.
Fast, spooky, fun. Famous Five with fantasy?
5. Tell us five positive words that describe you as a writer.
Green. Scaly. Good at martial arts. Likes purple. Oh, no wait. That’s Donatello. Um. Left-handed. Plotter. Scientist. Joker. Tea-drinker.
6. What book character would you be, and why?
Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And why? I mean, hello? Do I even have to answer that question? (Chocolate. Waterfall. That’s all I should need to say)
7. If you could time travel, what year would you go to and why?
To about a hundred years in the future. I’d like to know it’s all OK for my kids and my kids’ kids and etc. I think it will be, but all the same, I’d like to know for sure.
8. What would your ten-year-old self say to you now?
10-y-o me: “You’re kidding me, right? You mean parents really have no idea? But it can’t all be a bluff, can it?”
Me: “Nope. Sorry. It’s true. We really have no idea.”
9. Who is your greatest influence?
Me, as a kid.
10. What/who made you start writing?
I always wished I could write my own book. But, I didn’t know how to write a book, and so I never tried. Then, one day, I grew so sick of my own procrastination that I challenged myself to write a 30,000-word manuscript in 30 days. And I did. It was hard work, but it felt great.
11. What is your favourite word and why?
YAY! It feeds me energy.
12. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Yikes. Um. How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse?
