Being locked in small spaces! Definitely.

Playful, child like, humorous, verging on silly and very fun.

5. Tell us five positive words that describe you as a writer.
Playful, childlike, humorous, silly and of course FUN!

6. What book character would you be, and why?
Tigger! I love high energy and playfulness.

The 1920’s. I love the style of the 20s and 30s.

Remember me, know who you are and all you can be. Be happy now!

9. Who is your greatest influence?
I have many people who have influenced me and my work. Donna Rawlins, Margaret Hamilton, Grahame Grassby, my daughter Lucy. There are too many to name just one.

10. What/who made you start writing?
Donna Rawlins encouraged me to write, as did Paul Jennings. I never saw myself as a writer, only always as an artist and illustrator. It was a bit of a leap for me, but I love telling stories whether it be through pictures or words.

11. What is your favourite word and why?
‘Yes!’ Yes is a very powerful word, it opens doors and embraces positive thinking.
I love a can do attitude!

12. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I need to think about that one for a while. Let me get back to you!
