Review: I am Blop!

Who are you? Blop? What's a blop? And what does it do?

Well, lots and lots and lots of things. Firstly, it comes in all colours and sizes. When you put a pink and yellow one together, it becomes orange. And you should see what becomes of the blue and yellow ones.

Blops can be made of fingerprints. They form families. They can be elegant and beautiful and spotty and broken. They can even be 3D.

The combination of highly imaginative visual elements and dry, perfect-for-kids text in I am Blop! is priceless. You'll be able to hear little minds whirring as they peruse this book, and the final page of questions is an ideal story-starter or think tank for slightly older kids.

With thicker, hard-wearing pages for enthusiastic little hands, the book also features clear pages with colour accents that convert blops into all manner of hue.

Hervé Tullet, a KBR favourite, is continuing to pump out extraordinary and super fun books for kids (and adults!). I am Blop! is yet another utterly creative tome, featuring a super cool, skewed cover (that will still sit nicely on your bookshelf - don't worry).
