Review: Busy Bunny Days

The Bunny family are a busy family. In town, on the farm and at the port. They live alongside a charming menagerie of animal neighbours including Barbara Bear, Margo Mare, Veronica Vogue and the peevish Benny Badger.

It's 6am and the Bunny family are getting up for a busy day. Can you see Bethany and Baxter getting ready? Who's slipping on a banana peel? What's that lazy Benny Badger up to?

At 9am, school is about to start. Can you see Bethany walking into kinder? And at noon, what weather pattern is rolling into town?

This Richard Scarry-style romp of a book will absolutely enchant young children as they scan the beautiful, busy-bee pages, filled with all manner of neighbourly shenanigans--neighbours meeting and greeting, shopping, strolling and working--all the way through from morning till night.

In the second set of scenes--On the Farm--we visit friends of the Bunny family--and again follow their day from dawn till dusk--milking cows, gardening, raking, feeding the pigs, riding horses.

In the final set of scenes--at the port--we again delight in a portside experience, with sailing boats, cargo ships, canoes and all manner of seafaring craft-a truly jam-packed and vibrant experience.

Perfect for long car trips or times when a child could fall headlong into a book (any time, really) this is a gorgeous, beautifully-illustrated journey into the busy lives of an engaging set of animal characters.
