Review: Fearless with Dad

This is a sweet, funny, and oh-so-endearing celebration of all that makes dads great.

Our little boy hero can do anything with his dad. Surf the waves, fly like an eagle or travel to the moon. He can also be anything. A farmer, a master builder, a superhero, a rock star or a chef. He can be silly or serious, happy or sad, daggy or cool.

And how is all this possible? Simply because 'he's my Dad'.

The illustrations are what make this book sing. The cardboard-box space suits and superhero costumes with underpants on the outside (for Dad too!) are just delightful, while the pictures of the little boy and his Dad in 'daggy' and 'cool' mode made me laugh out loud — same hair, same way of holding the mug, same sunglasses. We've all seen kids who are mini-me versions of their parents.

Perfect for Father's Day, but a lovely read for a father and son at any time of the year!
