Review: The Hog, the Shrew and the Hullabaloo (A Harry & Lil Story)

The Hog, the Shrew and the Hullabaloo is all about Harry the hog.

Before bed Harry does his exercise and then drifts off to sleep, dreaming hog-dreams (which appear to be filled with food), but all of a sudden there was such a hullaballoo, it woke him up with a fright!

When his friend Lil comes to help him find out what’s making such a racket, they hear lots of different noises. What could be scuffling, crunching, screeching and kraarking?

As Harry and Lil investigate, they discover some of the animals that come out at night - owl, badger and frog - but could they be responsible for the hullaballoo?

Reading The Hog, the Shrew and the Hullabaloo takes some linguistic ability as its rhyming can become quite a tongue twister. By the end of the story you’ll have discovered what (or who) frightened Harry, just in time for him to go back to bed and fall asleep.
