Review: The Naughtiest Reindeer at the Zoo

Ruby, the naughtiest reindeer imaginable, is back! This rebellious reindeer made a delightful debut in The Naughtiest Reindeer (see review here), and I'm pleased to say that the next instalment in her adventures doesn't disappoint.

Ruby's human family seems to have learnt that she can cause chaos wherever she goes, so when they head off to visit their relatives for Christmas, they decide not to take any chances. Ruby is left behind at the zoo.

Unfortunately, the zoo isn't a great place to spend Christmas. There are no visitors, the zookeepers are at home with their families, none of the animals gets any presents … it's just no fun at all. Then Ruby has a bright idea!

Oh dear … The ensuing mayhem is on an epic scale, even for Ruby. Who's going to save the day this time?

Nicki Greenberg has once again created a rhyming story that skips off the page. Her illustrations are packed with personality, too. This is the perfect book to put a bit of sparkle in everyone's Christmas. Let's just hope that Ruby isn't delivering the presents …
