Review: But She Still Has Time For Me

Working mums around the world will rejoice at the release of this gem from businesswoman, author and mother-of-two Belinda Bow.

There's so much to love about this book, which is brimming with diversity and humour.

It introduces us to a variety of mums, each with a different occupation, yet all with something simple and special they love to do with their children, whether it be yoga, or bike riding, or just helping with homework.

It’s about savouring those little moments we have together. It’s also a wonderful way to show children that their mums have lives outside of mothering, while reassuring them that they will always love them and have time for them.

And it's a gentle reminder to mothers, too often weighed down with 'mother's guilt', that they're doing a darn good job.

There are some pretty inspiring mums in this book, from the firefighter and pilot, to the doctor and stay-at-home mother, all providing fabulous role models for children.

The beautifully designed book is in an enticing format, small and square, with Ina Kuhfuss’s vibrant illustrations bringing life and colour to each page.
