Giveaway: Lenny's Book of Everything

Thanks to the fantastic people at Allen & Unwin Children's Books and to celebrate the release of award-winning author, Karen Foxlee's latest novel, we have two copies of Lenny's Book of Everything to giveaway.

Lenny’s Book of Everything is a big-hearted novel about love and letting go. It tells the story of Lenny, and her younger brother Davey who won’t stop growing – he has a rare form of gigantism – and at seven is as tall as a man.

Raised by their single mother, who works numerous jobs and is made almost entirely out of worries, they have an ‘us against the world’ mentality, gradually chipped away as Davey’s health deteriorates.

The high point in their week is the arrival of the latest issue of Burrell's Build-It-at-Home-Encyclopedia, through which Lenny and Davey experience the wonders of the world.

To enter, simply tell us in 25 words or less what your favourite place in the world is.

Email your answer along with your name and postal address to dimity. The two responses we like the best will each win a copy of the book. Competition is open to anyone, worldwide, so long as they have an Australian postal address for delivery of the books. Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Entries without a name and street address will be ineligible. Winners will be announced right here on our website on Monday 19 November 2018.

Competition runs from 5 pm Friday 9 November to 5 pm Saturday 17 November 2018. Adults can enter for those aged 17 and under. This is a game of skill, not chance. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. This sounds like a wonderful story, and one that I think my grandson would enjoy. He has been very intrigued by information about the world's tallest man in the Guinness Book of Records. I think I'll include this in his Christmas package.
