Junior Review: Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy

Wings of Fire, The Dragonet Prophecy is an engaging fantasy book written by Tui T Sutherland. It is about tribes of dragons that are at war. 

The Sandwings Queen has been murdered and her three daughters are fighting for the throne. Blaze, the eldest of the three is allied with the Skywings and the Mudwings. Burn, the middle and most frivolous of the daughters, is allied with the Icewings. Blister, the youngest and most deadly of the three, is allied with the Seawings. 

Five young dragonets are destined to end the war and restore one of the sisters to the throne. Together they are the Dragonets of the prophecy.

Altogether this book was about friends that that will fight for each other. There is a great storyline and I was hooked just from reading the blurb. I would recommend this book to ages 10 and above.

The good news is this is only the first book in the ongoing series. Book number eleven, The Lost Continent, is due to be released very soon! I cannot wait to read it and review it for you!
