Review: Amazing Evolution

Evolution is a super interesting but rather tricky concept to grasp.

There’s lots of theories and concepts to get your head around, including species, genes, DNA and extinction (just to name a few).

Amazing Evolution is a book that brings all these concepts together and explains them in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.

With four big chapters on understanding evolution, life through the ages, the family tree and evolution in action, kids will be guided through everything they need to know.

Each page is covered in detailed illustrations that help understanding and break up the words. It’s close to a 50/50 ratio of words to pictures, which is fantastic for young readers.

All the pages are colourful and bright, making them super engaging and fun to explore. The language used is simple and there are heaps of arrows pointing things out to aid in understanding.

This is a brilliant book for schools and home. With lots of short sections, it’s a great book to dip in and out of, and to use to answer specific questions that arise using the detailed contents, glossary and index.

Amazing Evolution is a brilliant non-fiction book for curious kids!
