Review: I Love My Mum

We all know and adore Anna Walker's stunning work, and this beautiful book for mum is once again a visual thatch of fairyfloss - with a good dose of substance and whimsy.

I'm sure there's not many mums who don't adore picture books - especially books on sweet little Ollie - a stripy little creature who just loves his mum so much.

When Ollie asks his mum what they can do, she often says "something new!" and off they go in search of enchanting things to do and see like watching orange fish swim, chasing butterflies, hiding and of course, enjoying a treat.

Simple, rhyming text gives way to beautifully crafted illustrations that are just a joy to behold. Another book in the 'I Love' series, this gorgeous little tale is almost like a gigantic Mother's Day card - filled with an eyefest of gorgeous pics and a heartfelt message of love.
