Review: Fox Swift and the Golden Boot

Davinal Diggers star full-back, Mo, is having financial and water drought difficulties at his family's farm. It's troubling. Will Mo and his family get the boot?

In this third installment of Fox Swift books that I love so much, Fox and his family, with his Aboriginal mates, go on a trip to the Tiwi Islands off the Northern Territory. From croc hunting to playing some footy, there is loads of action there.

Fox's coach, Mr Scott, meets an old time friend, now a coach of the Metro State Team. He challenges the best players from Fox's combined Countryside league, but can they win against the slick city team?

The really good thing about this series is as soon as you read the first chapter, you can't put the book down. Before I go to sleep, I always read Fox Swift till, like, 10:30 pm. There is lots of action and heaps of game play, which I can relate to.

This is a great book and well recommended for footy fans of all kinds.
