Review: Hush-A-Bye Bunny

Hush-A-Bye Bunny is a gorgeous rhyming story all about preparing baby bunny for bed.

Starting with putting away all bunny's toys, the story progresses through eating dinner (supper) and having a bath, putting on pyjamas, and sharing a bedtime story. After the story, bunny hops into bed and mummy bunny helps hug away night time fears so baby bunny can fall asleep.
'Hush-a-bye Bunny,
The moon is now bright.
I'll love you forever
My bunny ... goodnight.'
Mummy and baby bunny are appealing characters and their story will be recognisable to young readers who will see the bunnies doing the same things as they do at bedtime.

Colourfully illustrated, each double page spread depicts the highlighted action (dinner, bath etc) along with lots of 'white' space and large text. The design makes it easy and attractive to read.

Hush-A-Bye Bunny is a perfect, calming bedtime story for toddlers.
