Giveaway: The Secrets of Magnolia Moon

Magnolia Moon is nine years old, likes Greek mythology, her best friend Imogen May (who understands the importance of questions like, "If you could be one fruit, any fruit, what would you be?"), wishing trees, and speaking crows. She knows instinctively that buffadillos are armadillos crossed with buffalos and believes there are walramingos living in her garden. She's also the kind of person who can be entrusted with a great many secrets.
CBCA award-winning picture book author Edwina Wyatt makes her fiction debut with a whimsical tale of a curious little girl who shares more than just her surname with the moon: They're both excellent secret keepers.

Read, KBR Penny's enchanting
review of The Secrets of Magnolia Moon.
To celebrate this recent release of The Secrets of Magnolia Moon, the sensational people of Walker Books Australia have three copies to giveaway. Imagine what a glorious surprise this would make this Christmas season!

'I would be a grape,' said Magnolia…'Because you would never be lonely, sitting there in a bunch. You would always have someone to talk to'. (pp. 9-10)

Magnolia Moon likes to think about what kind of fruit she would be. To enter, tell us, in 25 words or less what fruit you would be and why?

Email your answer along with your name and postal address to shaye. The three responses we like best will each win a book prize and rock box collection. Competition is open to anyone, worldwide, so long as they have an Australian postal address for delivery of the books. Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Entries without a name and street address will be ineligible. Winners will be announced right here on our website on 23 December 2019, in time for Christmas! (Please note, prizes may not arrive until after the Festive Season owing to the holiday period).

Competition runs from 5 am 14 December 2019 to 5 pm 21 December 2019. Adults can enter for those aged 17 and under. This is a game of skill, not chance. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
