Review: Shoo You Crocodile!

When your class goes to the museum, there are a few things you’ll likely expect to see.

But what you probably don’t expect to see is a… crocodile!

Crocodile, crocodile with crocodile teeth.

CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP

You better run. You better try to frighten it away.

You better clang and stomp and roar until that crocodile leaves.

Shoo You Crocodile! by Katrina Germein is a fun story filled with loads of onomatopoeia and fun actions for the kids to play out as they read.

It’s a book for reading aloud, and to a crowd, to get the kids moving and involved in the story.

Kids will love stomping, chomping, clanging and roaring throughout the story as the class chase the crocodile (and get chased by the crocodile) through the museum.

With funky and bright illustrations from Tom Jellett, the book draws you in from page one. There are lots of fun details to explore and lots of opportunities to guess what’s coming next with suspenseful page turns.

Heaps of fun and opportunity for audience engagement, Shoo You Crocodile! is for kids (and adults) who love to get loud and silly as they share a story.
